Hi, I’m Oksana, the founder of K9 Trail Slayers. If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be running a business built entirely around Mantrailing, I probably wouldn’t have believed you!
I first tried the sport in January 2023 with my fox red Labrador, Otis. He wasn’t exactly the easiest dog to start trailing with — in fact, he made me work for every single step forward. Yes...there were tears...but that challenge is what made me fall completely in love with the sport. Together, we’ve celebrated the small wins, learned patience, and discovered just how powerful the bond between human and dog can become through mantrailing.
Fast-forward to today, and not only are Otis and I working towards Level 3, but I’ve also qualified as a Mantrailing Global Instructor, which means I now get to share this amazing sport with other dog teams too. There’s nothing better than watching a handler light up when their dog smashes a trail, or seeing a shy dog find confidence through the work.
Beyond mantrailing, I’ve been training my own dogs for over six years and am currently studying to become a canine behaviourist. Dogs are at the centre of everything I do — they challenge me, ground me, and inspire me every single day.

But K9 Trail Slayers isn’t just me — it’s also powered by my four incredible dogs, each with their own special role:
Otis – King of Cool
The OG and the reason K9 Trail Slayers exists. He was by far the hardest dog to start trailing with, but the journey we’ve had together has been the most rewarding.
Merlin – Speed Machine & Head of Spins
The size of a small horse and full of energy! Trailing with Merlin is a fast-paced, fun-filled adventure — but definitely not for the faint-hearted.
Luna – Office Manager
She’s in charge of keeping the boys in line and making sure the household runs on her terms. A little sass goes a long way!
Rudy – The New Kid on the Block
Chief Tester of toys… and boundaries. Mischievous, playful, and always ready to boop something... if you sit still long enough it could be you!
My Small Business
When I first started mantrailing, I found it difficult to source reliable information and the right equipment. That frustration turned into inspiration, and K9 Trail Slayers was born.
The goal is simple: to create a one-stop shop for everything mantrailing — from high-quality harnesses and trailing lines to cosy hoodies and snoods. Every product has been chosen with care, tested by me and my dogs, and designed to make your mantrailing journey smoother, safer, and more enjoyable.
